ECORD: European Consortium for Ocean Research Drilling

ECORD Databases: ECORD has developed several databases to handle the data collected during drilling expeditions and to maintain a record of European and Canadian participants in IODP. From December 2003 to August 2008) these databases have been supported by the ECORD-Net contract.
The ECORD Information database keeps the record of ECORD (Europe and Canada) participation in IODP expeditions, proposals and workshops, as well as panels and committees with delegates and representatives. Contact: Patricia Maruéjol Link: http://ecordbase.ecord.org/
Mission-specific platform expedition database: as one of the IODP Implementing Organizations, the ECORD Science Operator (ESO) is responsible for collecting data during mission-specific platform (MSP) expeditions and making them available to the science community. Google Earth Scientific Borehole Map shows location of all DSDP, ODP and IODP drilled sites as well as IODP proposed drill sites and related site-survey data (links to SSDB).
The Scientific Earth Drilling Information System (SEDIS) is designed to facilitate access to data, information and publications related to scientific ocean drilling (IODP, ODP and DSDP), regardless of origin or location of data. SEDIS allows the public to search the databases of the IODP Implementing Organizations (IOs) - CDEX, ESO and USIO - by harvesting distributed metadata. More information about SEDIS
The Site Survey Data Bank (SSDB) is a repository for digital site survey data submitted in support of Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP) proposals, expeditions and related activities.
Ocean Drilling Citation Database In collaboration with AGI, the IODP-USIO maintains a citation database for DSDP, ODP and IODP-related publications.
