Different types of materials can be used for promotional events and are available for download (high-resolution copies) from ECORD web sites or upon request (see Contacts).
- ECORD Publications: ECORD posters, brochures, newsletters are regularly edited and are currently available as electronic files or paper copies.

- Arctic Photo Exhibition: "Journey into the Ice" is a photographic exhibition by Hannes von der Fecht. All pictures have been taken during the Arctic Coring Expedition.

- Core Replicas: Four replicas of ODP and IODP drilled cores are available for display at temporary exhibitions and conferences in Europe:
- Arctic Coring Expedition (IODP Expedition 302),
- Tahiti Sea Level Expedition (IODP Expedition 310),
- PETM - Early Cenozoic Extreme Climates: The Walvis Ridge Transect (ODP Leg 208),
- K/T boundary - Black Nose Paleoceanographic Transect (ODP Leg 171B).

- Logos: ECORD and IODP logos are downloadable as high-resolution or print-quality images (300 dpi, CMYB) - in ai (Illustrator - vectorised), eps and jpg formats, and as low-resolution pictures for web and electronic use (72dpi, RGB) in jpg format.
These logos have to be used without any alteration and can be reduced no smaller than 3 cm accross for print applications and 150 pixels accross for web or electronic applications.

- MSP Expedition Outreach: prior to each MSP expedition, the ECORD Science Operator (ESO) is charged with establishing a MSP communication plan prior to each expedition ACEX, Tahiti, New Jersey, GBR
